Fulfilling Our Mission
While the College transitions away from the following programs on August 15, 2025, we are enhancing opportunities through the following innovative partnerships and renovated spaces in 2025-2026:
- Expanding our Welding Technology program to offer a diploma and certificate at Career Academy and Technical School (CATS) through a newly renovated 30-booth welding facility with all new equipment, in collaboration with Iredell-Statesville Schools and industry stakeholders.
Launching new opportunities for adult learners in healthcare programs, such as:
- Dental Assisting, starting in Spring 2026.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Bridge, starting in August 2025.
- Polysomnography through a collaborative partnership with Central Piedmont Community College, starting in August 2025.
Evolving efforts in the following programs:Â
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, through a collaborative partnership with Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, will be offering a new cohort in August 2025.
- Pioneering new Information Technology degrees and certificates in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science/Analytics in Fall 2026.
- Retooling our Computer-Integrated Machining program with new computer numerically controlled milling and turning centers, aligned with Fanuc Controls simulators.
- Renovating our Grier Science Building to provide access to high-quality education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) related instruction.Â
