Mavericks Give Back to Mitchell for Students
"I am a 41 year-old mother of two adult sons and a new granddaughter. I am most proud of my family. My drive to make them proud fuels me to pursue my goal to become a nurse. I feel you’re never too old to follow your dreams. With this scholarship my dream has become more of a reality as it eased a financial burden that may have been a deterrent of me entering the nursing program. I am so very thankful for the generosity of this scholarship. My plan is to pay it back by completing my nursing degree and providing excellent care and compassion to everyone I am able to care for. I will always be grateful for your investment in my future."
