Our truck driving training program consists of extensive classroom and range & road driving to prepare students for the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) final test.
- The CDL test will be administered at the end of this course.
- The total cost of tuition is $1999. Additional student anticipated costs include permit, physical, and drug screen costing an approximate $350.
- Partial scholarships may be available.
- Attendance at an information session is strongly encouraged. Attendance at the mandatory orientation is required. Full tuition is due at time of registration.

All sessions are held in the Continuing Education Building, 701 W Front St, Statesville – Room 8.

Mandatory Orientation: December 2, 2024, at 10 a.m.
Registration: December 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. to noon
Class begins: January 8, 2025
Class ends: March 13, 2025
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday – 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Thursday – 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday – No class
All classes are held in Statesville, NC.
Mitchell’s Truck Driver Training is in partnership with Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute.
This full-time program for Class A – CDL Truck Driver training is offered 5 days a week for 9 weeks.
