NC Manufacturing Institute - Certified Production Technician

Getting a job with a great future is happening right now in Iredell County through the North Carolina Manufacturing Institute (NCMI).

NCMI is a three-county initiative (Iredell, Rowan, and Cabarrus Counties) and education partners Mitchell Community College and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.   This collaboration prepares students for successful career in manufacturing.

Upon successful completion of the course the student receives the nationally recognized credential of the Manufactuing Skill Standards Council Certified Production Technician (CPT).   Student resumes go directly to human resource managers of member companies.  Member companies are excited to hire CPT graduates. 

Certified Production Technician 4.0 is comprised of four areas of study:  Safety, Quality & Measurement, Manufacturing Process and Production and Maintenance Awareness.   Certified Production key activities detail click here
