Emily Schuttenberg attended Huntingdon College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in both Piano and Musical Theatre.  She completed her Master of Music degree with a concentration in Piano Performance at Western Carolina University.  She has served as an accompanist and collaborative pianist for many kinds of recitals, concerts, and competitions.  She has taught collegiate level courses, general music at elementary and middle schools, and piano lessons to all ages.  She has also created and implemented preschool music curriculums.  Mrs. Schuttenberg has over 16 years of experience in sacred music as choral conductor and/or pianist.  As a vocal coach, Mrs. Schuttenberg has led musical theatre workshops and been music director/pianist for several theatre productions.  She is currently a member of the Hickory Choral Society, MTNA, and a board member of Performing Arts Live of Iredell.
