On your own device or off campus when you click on a database you will need to enter your Mitchell Community College email address and password. Currently the NCLIVE links to a webpage where you will need to select your college: Mitchell Community College then you will need to enter your MCC email and password.

NC LIVE (North Carolina Libraries for Virtual Education)- Resources consisting of full-text magazines, newspaper, and journal articles; historical materials; and reference sources covering a wide range of topics. Off campus you can access using a unique password. Please contact the library to receive the password information.
OVID Journals- AJN- American Journal of Nursing; Med/Surg Insider Supplement; Men in Nursing; Nursing - Scholarly journals of nursing. Search or click on Journals to search individual journals.
ProCitizen- Prepares you for U.S. Citizenship. This FREE resource will require you to create a user name and password. Spanish version of resource click - ProCitizen Spanish. Free printed materials for libraries can be found at the Pronunciator Shop.
Science - AAAS- Peer reviewed original scientific research articles and reports, science and research news as well as policy forms and perspectives on current topics. There are links to articles in Science Signaling, Science Translational Medicine, Science Immunology, and Science Robotics however Mitchell Community College does not subscribe to those journals.
