James Imes III, Student of the Month
James Imes III has been selected as Mitchell’s Student of the Month. Currently in the Computer Information Technology program, Imes plans to graduate in May 2015. He also represents his peers as the Student Government Association (SGA) president.
A proud father, Imes balances his family and educational life while still finding time to conduct campus tours, coach elementary age children and promote the Statesville community. “James is a wonderful person and desires to help those around him,” said Amy Sylvestre, SGA advisor and nominator. “He easily could simply focus on his own goals and academics but chooses to give up his time to serve those around him.”
Imes is invested in Mitchell and strives to ignite his passion in others. Congratulations, James Imes III! We are celebrating your excellence!
