Cameron Diane Clark was recognized as Mitchell Community College’s Student of the Month. The presentation was made by Leigh Whitfield, director of marketing and public relations at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, one of the College’s annual sponsors.
Clark, who lives in Mooresville, is an associate in arts college transfer degree candidate. Following graduation in December, she plans to pursue a degree in history and eventually become a museum docent. She is a member of the Lake Norman Reenactment Group. Her research has helped the group recreate known historical events for educational purposes. She developed her love of history while being home-schooled by her mother.
Clark serves as secretary for the Mitchell Community College Art Club and works in the family’s racing business 20 hours a week. She is participating in Mitchell’s Study Abroad program which is in Italy this year.
