In addition to our college transfer degrees in visual arts and music, Mitchell Community College serves as the premier arts and cultural resource for our community. Each year, we offer a wide variety of free professional and student performances, exhibits, lectures, films, and programs. And, if you like to play an instrument or enjoy singing, we hope you’ll join in the fun of performing with our Community Band, and Community Chorus. 

Whether you enjoy bluegrass, gospel, jazz, or classical music concerts; traditional, folk, or experimental visual arts exhibits; poetry, fiction, or non-fiction literature and spoken word performances; or films, lectures, and discussions, Mitchell invites you to join our ongoing celebration of the arts in Iredell County.
