Photo IDs and parking permits will be available at the Cherry Street Center Monday through Friday. Regular hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.
Students may park in any designated parking space except for those with restricted markings (i.e. fire lane, loading zone, reserved, staff, handicapped or other signed areas). Do not be creative with your parking—park only in approved spaces. The Statesville Police Department will issue citations for vehicles in handicapped spaces or fire lanes. They may also authorize the removal of a vehicle if it affects public safety. Do not park in private local business lots or on any private property.
At times, all parking spaces on the Main Campus may be filled. At such times, students may use Mitchell's parking lot on Cherry Street or the lots at the Continuing Education and Workforce Development Center on Front Street. Legal parking is also available on the side streets surrounding the campus. Please park legally and exercise CAUTION AND COMMON SENSE when parking and exiting your vehicle onto a city street.
The City of Statesville also has an available "All Day" parking lot on Walnut Street east of Mulberry Street as you head downtown. Mitchell has an available "overflow" parking lot in the area of 633 West End Avenue, one block west of the campus.

Students, faculty and staff should always display the Mitchell Community College parking permit when parking on campus. Students may obtain the free parking permit from the receptionist at the Cherry Street Center.
