EMT - Basic

This class prepares students to take the North Carolina EMT basic exam. Students will be required to have a current criminal background check prior to the beginning of class.

Schedule

  • Jan 7, 2013 - Day Class: 9 am - 5 pm in Statesville (Days will vary)
  • Jan 8, 2013 - Night Class: 6 pm-10 pm in Statesville (Tues/Thurs nights)
  • Both Classes will meet  one Saturday per month

Fees

  • $175 registration
  • $45 supply fee (shirts/handouts/disposable equipment)
  • $1.25 school insurance-required
  • Cost of books not included (aprox. $165.00-online only)

Fee Waiver

  • If affiliated with a municipal/volunteer fire or rescue department, your registration fee can be waived.

Other Info

  • If you are under 18 years of age, but at least 16, you can attend but there are special forms to be used.
  • Must have High School Diploma, GED or proof of 10th Gr. Reading level. Must have or be starting the Hepatitis B Vaccine, and TB Test.
