This program is designed to give the student the essential skills required for employment as an entry-level fire fighter. Upon successful completion of the 488 hour program the student will have attained the following certifications; Firefighter I and II, and Driver Operator EVD, and Rapid Intervention (RIT).

Class begins Jan. 27, 2014. Class meets from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Continuing Education Building, 701 W. Front St., Statesville. The program takes approximately three months to complete and will end May 2014.
