The Mitchell Community College Computer Technologies Department offers students in the computer programs the technical skills as wells as general knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills needed to stay ahead in today's rapidly changing industries. Whether you are changing careers, enhancing your skills, or brushing up on your computers skills, we can provide you the skills you need to prepare you to be better employees. Businesses are looking for employees who are quick learners who can help increase production, cut costs and better assist its customers.
We have three computers labs in our department, one of which opened in the fall of 2010 and will be equipped with the latest computer technology and software. This additional lab was opened to give students hands-on instruction in the most current computer technology in order to compete in the global community. Our expectation is to expand this lab as needed to integrate new technology as it appears on the market.
We offer instructor led, hands-on computer courses in a learning-centered institution. We provide affordable, high-quality educational and training programs to meet the changing and diverse lifelong learning needs of a multi-culturally diverse citizenry who live and work in Iredell County.
