Mitchell Community College music groups resume practice this month after taking the summer off. The Chorus begins practice on Tuesday, Aug. 14 under the direction of Dan Pardue. The Band begins practice on Monday, Aug. 20 under the direction of Jack Horner. This is a great opportunity for individuals who like to practice and perform. Both groups meet from 7-9 p.m. in Shearer Hall on the College’s main campus in Statesville. Participation is free. For more information, contact the College at (704) 878-4321.
