Mitchell Community College inducted 110 students into the National Society of Leadership and Success, an organization helps students discover and achieve their goals. To qualify, students must participate in leadership training, broadcast events, and networking team meetings.
During the ceremony, nineteen students were presented National Excellence in Leadership Awards for exceeding the program requirements and for participating in community service activities. Those students include Cindy Bacon, Robert Baldwin, Merilyn Ellis, Amy Estep, Alvin Fogle, Cynthia Holland, Miranda Horton, Shylla Lynne Lackey, Tabitha Faith Lambeth, Ashleigh Lay, Ashley Martin, Michael Morrison, Yadira Navarrette, Coy Nobles, Carol Rinehardt, David Salmonsen, Carolina Smith, Richard Spencer, and Michelle Taylor.
