Mitchell Community College will host the 2nd Annual International Festival on Saturday, Apr. 14 from noon until 4 p.m. on the Circle. This year’s event, themed We Are One, will feature a parade of nations for children, cultural table exhibitions, food sampling, traditional clothing, international music and dancing, steel drums, flower leis, hula dancers, and more.
The event is free and open to the public and offers families an afternoon of educational fun and entertainment. Sponsors include Mitchell’s Diversity Task Force, English as a Second Language Program, Student Government Assoc., and International Club. For a complete schedule, visit www.mitchellcc.edu/events.
