Library Services and General Information

Circulation Desk Telephone: (704) 878-3271

Books/materials: General circulation books and materials may be checked out for a two-week period unless otherwise designated. You may renew books and materials in person or by telephone for the designated period unless there is a "request for hold" for another student.

A fine of 5 cents per day per item is charged for overdue books. If a book is lost or damaged, you will be charged the current replacement cost for that item. If you have overdue items, you will be sent an overdue notice as a reminder to return your items and clear your library record.

All outstanding fines must be taken care of in order to register for classes, graduate or send an official transcript to another institution.

Computer Use:  The cost for printing is 10 cents per side.

Place to Study:  On the main (second) floor is an open study area with tables and chairs. On the third floor there are study carrels and a study room that seats up to 10. The study room, (Room 308 behind the MIND Center), has a white board with markers and a computer available.  Reserve the room on an hourly basis by coming by or calling the Circulation Desk at (704) 878-3271.

Computer Lab:  On the main floor, the Computer Lab (Room 201) has 24 computers for student use. An assistant is available to help during lab hours. The cost for printing is 10 cents per side. Questions? Call the lab at (704) 978-5422.
