Jodi John-Pippin Art Exhibit and Reception

3/3/11
5:30 PM to 7:00 PM

Pippin has been painting professionally since 2001. She has learned to combine impressionistic techniques and vivid color with the looseness of architectural field sketching. Recently, she has been focusing on depictions of rural and family life using animals, landscapes and figures as her subject matter. She received her B.S. in Cultural Anthropology from Appalachian State University, with a minor in Folklore. Pippin is director of the Iredell Arts Council.

Exhibit runs through Mar. 24. For gallery hours, call (704) 878-3310.
