Criss Cross Mangosauce is a bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural performing group. This musical and storytelling group is a "must-see treat" for children, families and educators interested in the Spanish language and the Latino culture. Their interactive performances use a combination of traditional Latin rhythms and classic American children’s rhymes. They also introduce sing-along stories and games from various countries in Latin America.  Children and adults will enjoy the vibrant sound of exotic congas, a traditional Venezuelan cuatro and castanets among other instruments.  This FREE performance by Criss Cross Mangosauce features a six-piece band, whose music fuses tropical rhythms with bossa nova and rock and roll. This program is funded in part by the NC Arts Council’s Grassroots Arts Program through the Iredell Arts Council.
