Income Allocations

The MCCEE Endowment Board prioritizes the needs of the College and distributes income after a thorough review of projects and business requirements. Following is a summary of the 2011-2012 Endowment allocations.

Student Scholarships
Provides additional scholarship funds to help accommodate the growing need for financial aid.

Library/Learning Resources
Supplements the budget for the Huskins Library which the State reduced by 50%.

Academic Curriculum Support
Provides funding for personnel, equipment, teaching supplies, computers, and software.
$30,000
Continuing Education/Occupational Extension Support
Provides support for literacy and job readiness programs plus matching funds for grants that offer community outreach to underserved students.

Faculty/Staff Development
Funds attendance at professional meetings and conferences related to improved teaching methods and subject-matter updates.
$20,000
Faculty/Staff Incentive Grants
Provides financial support for innovative projects designed to improve teaching methods and/or services offered.

Educational Technology Advancement Fund
Provides support for technology and innovations that benefit the instructional process.
$20,000
Graduation Expenses Support
Covers graduation fees previously charged to students.
$15,000
Arts/Community Service Programs
Funds concerts, lectures, recitals, exhibits and special events that benefit the community.
$10,000
Resource Development
Lets the College pursue financial support and engage in partnerships with foundations and other grant-making organizations.

Quality Enhancement Program (QEP)
Provides funding to implement contextual teaching and learning methods throughout all curriculum programs.
