Income Allocations

The MCCEE Endowment Board prioritizes the needs of the College and distributes income after a thorough review of projects and business requirements. Following is a summary of the 2012-2013 Endowment allocations.

Instructional Support and Outreach $140,000

Funds allocated will be used to:

  • Enhance instruction in all areas of curriculum including unfunded equipment, teaching supplies, computers, software, and personnel
  • Supplement the book budget for the Huskins Library
  • Support various needs in literacy and job readiness programs through the continuing education division
  • Cover graduation expenses to encourage student to "officially" graduate
  • Promote contextual teaching and learning throughout our campus community
 
Continuous Institutional Improvement $194,000

Funds will allow the College to pursue a vision and set priorities to create a strong and vibrant institution for 2012 and beyond by:

  • Supporting technology and technological innovations
  • Providing general institutional support
  • Allowing the College to pursue financial support and engage in partnerships with foundations and other grant-making organizations
  • Supporting professional development activities for faculty and staff including incentive grants, employee education attainment, and tuition reimbursement
  • Strengthening the campus community through organizations and activities like Faculty Senate, College Council, Diversity Task Force, and Wellness Committee
  • Supporting alumni and community relations activities
 
Arts and Community Service Programs $16,000
Allocations will fund concerts, lectures, recitals, exhibits, and special events that benefit the campus community as well as the residents of our area.  
Total $350,000
