The Board of Trustees has the responsibility for development and governance of Mitchell Community College.
The 14-member Board of Trustees includes four member appointments by the Governor, four by the Iredell County Board of Commissioners and four by the Iredell County Board of Education, with each member appointed for a four-year term. The Student Government President and the Executive Assistant to the President serves as ex-officio, non-voting members.
The Board meets monthly. Dates are posted on the Mitchell Event Calendar. Committees meet on an "as needed" basis.
